The Goosebumps

I think Goosebumps is an awesome book. It has a lot of chills and thrills. That is why I like it. They are very grabbing. It is a very good book. I like it because my favorite author wrote it. That is RL Stine. The book is about kids are being kids. They get in trouble with things that they are scared of and that is very amusing. The end result is usually that they get out of trouble and it is a happy ending, but sometimes it is not a happy ending.

I think that MW3 is one of the best shooter games. Also my favorite part on that game is the setting- Chaos, because you practically can’t die. It is also hard because people come from all over. The cool thing is you don’t need to buy your weapons. You can just walk on it and you get a weapon as soon as you walk on.

So many feel the world will come to an end in about two months due to the Mayan calendar ending in 2012. I for one think that is not true. I think the Mayans maybe were tired of making calendars. The world will not end just like it didn't in 1999. So let's enjoy our New Years and not have a total melt down.

Assassin’s Creed 3 This video game is freakin amazing!!! It’s an historical action-adventure open world stealth video game Created by Ubisoft Montreal. This game is all about before, during, and after the American Revolution with modern day features. The point of the game is you’re trying to prevent a 2012 apocalypse. It has such vivid and gory images that you can enjoy. It’s fun if you like action. This video game has some wicked fighting skills and weapons. If you like any of these things buy the game and get ready to play hard core. Ashley
Tupac Amaru Shakur
1971-1996 Tupac is my idol, I look up to him. He was a wise man who straight-up knew his facts. Since I was a youngster, I always felt like Tupac’s music related to my life. In a way, when I listened to his music, I felt safe. I felt like someone actually understood what we women have to go through in life. Unlike rappers now-a-days, they be spitting about sex, money, and such, Tupac’s music actually had a meaning. Though he was a thug, he inspired many people, including me. “Only God Can Judge Me.” That’s what I live by. Tupac had so much to offer the world, but sadly he was taken from us, RIP. Since I was 10, the streets have been my home. I used to believe that I would never get anywhere in life, because I was a “criminal” or a “Hood-rat” I believed that since the streets chose me, I would die on the streets. But then I heard Tupac’s music. I realized that just because I grew up on the streets, didn’t mean I would stay there forever. I overcame all the stereotypes and assumptions that society had put on me. I wouldn’t let the things I went through or did in the past define who I would be in the future. I was the girl who would get pregnant at 15, and be a drop-out, but look where I’m at. I’m 15 turning 16, and ain’t gots no kid. On the real, I’ve made millions of mistakes in the past, but I would never take any of it back. With every mistake I’ve ever made, I gained something out of that. My mistakes have made me who I am to this day, and I am not ashamed. Tupac honestly changed my mind set I had on life. He opened up my eyes to see how the world really was. I regret that I never got the chance to meet him; he died right before I was born. His legacy and soul will always live, and it’s in his music. I love Tupac Amaru Shakur.

Halloween I love Halloween, it’s my favorite holiday. Some of my favorite memories of Halloween would be when I was a kid. One time I went to a haunted corn maze and it was the best memory that I have from when I was a kid. I love Halloween parties and I look forward to see all the fancy costumes that are out there. I love trick or treating, I wish I wasn’t growing up, because I miss it and really enjoy walking around getting free candy and checking out people’s decorations. CHRISTMAS
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. It’s a time when every body’s family gets together & gives & receives gifts from each other. Everybody is happy because people play games together, open presents, & have a good dinner. Some people travel from far away just to get together as a family & have a good time, some people go sledding and meet new people and get to know others. Me and my family get together and have a good time and joke around, we also go sledding sometimes if we have time, and we give and receive gifts from each other. One of my favorite memories on Christmas is having a huge snow ball fight with some of my family members it’s really fun, also seeing family members I haven’t seen for a while and having a good time and joking around.

I like this band because they talk about the way life is and never lie in their songs either. They make life seem well real and not just a dream. My favorite song by them is LET IT GO. This song talks about a girl and the girl is falling in love with another guy, so the guy that is singing the song is saying if I let her go would life be the same without her. The one line of the song that I like is IF I LET IT GO, IF I LET THIS GO, IF I LET YOU GO WOULD THE STARS CONTINUE TO SHOW.

Skrillex, BANGARANG review
If you’re into Dubstep, then you undoubtedly know Skrillex and you either love him or hate him. You have also probably heard of Skrillex’s newest E.P. Bangarang that came out late December 2011. I really liked the heavy drop and the beats on some of the songs like Bangarang and Breakin’ a sweat, and he also had some great melody on Summit, but I’ve noticed that some of his songs have started to get a little generically repetitive. So what’s with that Sonny? His first album Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites dropped bombs, but now some of his songs seem to be losing a bit of the beat that he brought to the table. I absolutely hated Right On Time, all I remember of it was a droning monotonous beat that annoyed me more than anything. In his defense, it’s not all his fault being as it was a collaboration piece with Kill the Noise and 12th Planet. I do like that he’s taking initiative to work with other artists. Overall this album leans more towards Electro-House more than Dubstep, however it still has the mark of Skrillex. I give this album a 4 star rating.
